"Firstly - congratulations! sustain' has been a major player in bringing difficult issues to the public in a way that can be understood, and hence make a difference - I wish you well in the future to change the world as we know it!

"In the last ten years, climate change has emerged from being the domain of a few strange scientists to- being adopted by the harbingers of doom: we can't do anything, we are all going to die - being approached in a pragmatic, reasoned way (by some) addressing mitigation and adaptation - people are now starting to be empowered and believe if they can't change the world, they can do something!

"In the next few years; climate change must be further addressed, in particular in terms of equity, justice and governance. The population of the world is affected disproportionately according to location, wealth and gender. Along with this, food and water security must be tackled as a question of urgency, for example water neutrality should have as much importance as carbon neutrality. Health and well being is our next big challenge - currently depression and mental health costs UK plc over 20 times more than obesity! However, I believe we will survive and prosper. We have the will, the skills and the compassion to improve the lives of all, now and in the future."
